0 – 4 years car seats 

Suitable for Newborns up to approx. 4 years of age which can face rearwards for 6 – 12 months and sometimes up to 30 months on seats that have extended rearward facing capacity.

These seats will have either 2 or 3 shoulder height markers:

2 Shoulder Height Markers

Where there are 2 shoulder height markers the child should stay rearward facing until their shoulder reaches the first marker and then the seat should be turned to face forward, once their shoulder reaches the second upper marker the child has outgrow this seat.(approx. 4 years)

3 Shoulder Height Markers

Where there are 3 shoulder height markers the child should stay rearward facing until their shoulder reaches the first marker but can stay rearward facing until their shoulder reaches the middle marker,this is the extended rearward facing capacity.

The seat can be turned to face forward any time after the child’s shoulder has passed the first height marker, once their shoulder reaches the top marker the child has outgrow this seat.(approx. 4 years)
